Rayado just turned 2 years old on June 9th, his sire is a registered Appaloosa and is mother is 1/2 Rocky Mountain Saddle horse 1/2 Quarter horse. He is currently around 14.2 hands ( should finish 15+ hands) his mother is 15.2 hands. Rayado has amazing color, he has varnish legs, his body is covered with spots of various sizes, he has a blanket up to his withers with large peacock spots on his rump.
He has a full mane and tail and a partial blue right eye.
Rayado was gelded at a year old and has a very sweet in your pocket temperament.
He loves people and loves attention.
He comes right up to you in the field and enjoys pets and rubs.
He is good with other horses in a mixed field, mares, geldings, foals, ponies, minis, he has been pastured with them all.
He is also good with and used to sheep, goats and cows been pastured with them as well.
Rayado is fine with dogs running around his feet. He is very laid back and easy going.
He will be easy to break and train.
Rayado is not currently gaited, he has a smooth trot, nice lope and canter.
His mother is very smoothly gaited, so he may gait later.
Rayado is halter trained, he leads, picks up his feet, stands tied in cross ties and straight tied.
He is good for grooming and has had a saddle cinched around him and walked around with a saddle on.
Nothing seems to faze him, he is calm, level headed and not spooky. He is an easy keeper, stays fit and healthy on grass.
Rayado does well turned out 24/7 or stalled. He has had children playing with him since birth, he adores children.
He is ready to break and train your way, he could go any direction, trail mount, pole/ barrels, chase cows, show, trails to rails Rayado is your horse!
He would make a nice 4H horse also!
